How can I register?

When do I have to reigster?
- You have to submit your regisrtration form at least one week prior to your course start date. If you need accommodation we require at least 3weeks advanced registration. If you require a visa (see if you need a visa - click here) please take this into consideration when applying.
What should I do after I submit my regisrtarion form?
- Submit $300 deposit in order to receive your letter of acceptance and invoice. Upon receiving your deposit your leter of acceptance will be issued within 24hours.
What happens next?
- If you have requested accommodation, you will receive your accommodation profile at least 3weeks prior to your arrival.
Payment
How can I pay my deposit?
- Wire-Transfer/ Credit Card ( Visa, Master Card, American Express ) or Money Order

When can I pay the rest of my course and accommodation fees?
- If you wish you can pay the rest of tuition fees prior to your arrival by wire-transfer, money order or credit card.
- You can pay on your first day at school in person.
Course
When do the courses start?
- All our Core ESL Courses start every Monday
- Exam Preparation Corses start on first Monday of every month. Other dates possible - please contact us.

Can I change my course or course level?
- Yes, you can. You have to fill out Course/Level Change Request form in the studnet area of our website. As long as your level of English meets the course requirements you can change your course/class on the following Tuesday.
How can I move up to the next level?
- When you start your course you will get an evaluation form (Report Card0 on-line which contains your attendance, test scores, . teachers' comments on your progress and participation in class and so on. This will be checked every 4weeks by your grammar and oral teacher. Based on your evaluation form, you will be moved to the next level. Generally it takes about 10 to 12 weeks to go to the next level.

What types of accommodation do you offer?
- Homestays ( no meals, 2meals or 3meals ) / Residences ( Basic, Standard - mostly Summer time only, Luxurious ) / Private Apartment ( For Long-Term Students )
Where are they located?
- Homestays and Basic Residences are located on average about 25 - 30 minutes away from the school by public transportations.
- Standard and Luxrious Residences are located on average about 10- 20 minutes away from the school on foot.
When should I book my accommodation?
- We suggest at least 3weeks advanced booking for homestay and 4weeks for Residence Type accommodation in order to meets your specific request in accommodation.
Please note that in summer time ( Late May - Mid August ) all residences get full very quickly and further advanced bookings are reccommended.
When can I get information on my accommodation?
- You will receive a complete accommodation profile including location, pictures, available facilities, area/house profiles, etc...at least 3weeks prior to your arrival.
What kind of airport transfers do you offer?
- By Limousine - We have an account with Airline Limousine Company. If you have requested limousine servie you will receive detailed instructions and our account number along with your accommodation profile. This doesn't include greeting service from the school. Limousine is available for 24hours.
- By Quest Representative - A Quest representative will be waiting for you at the terminal with the school sign. Upon your arrival please look for the sign. If you have requested this service please note the followings:
Do not forget that our representative is waiting for you at the terminal!!
- Do not wait for your luggage for more than 30minutes. You have to come out and see our representative. We will help you find out your luggage on the next day.
- If you have any problems please call us at the Quest emergency number immediately.

Activities
What kind of activities do you offer?
Are activity costs included in my tuition fees?
- Except our Summer/Winter Youth Program no activities are included in your tuition fees. However, all activities are affordable and most activities are offered with discounted prices for students. We also have free activities such as Team Sports at High-Park, Quest School Party, Movie Afternoon and so on.
Is there trip to New York/French Canada ( Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City) very often?
- There is a trip to New York and French Canada by coach every weekend in Summer time and every other weekend in Winter time. In summer time early booking is recommended.
Is there Quest staff accompanying students?
- Generally there is at least one activity coordinator from the school, who will take studens on activity. However, if the number of students attending the activity is smaller than , that activity can be postponed or cancelled..
- Exception- One activity coordinator will be assigned per summer group and he/she will guide and instruct your group for all activities during your stay.
After you arrive
What do I have to bring on my first day?
- You may need a notebook and pens to use in class.
By what time do I have to be at the school?
- You have to be at the school by 9a.m. for your placement tests.
Do I have classes on the first day?
- Yes, after you finish the placement tests you will have 2 hour-conversation class in the morning.
